Responsible growth means improving patient outcomes while operating ethically and sustainably

At Pharmanovia, responsibility is part of how we create long-term impact. As a focused innovative specialty pharma company our responsibility priorities span patient health and safety, product quality, ethical governance, employee wellbeing, environmental impact and responsible commercial operations.

Delivering our ESG strategy is a shared responsibility across Pharmanovia and is guided by our values of Care, Transparency and Ownership.

Environment

Reducing our environmental impact

We recognise that patient and planetary health are closely connected. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact through practical action, focused on conserving energy and minimising waste.

Climate action with accountability

We know healthier futures depend on a healthier planet. That’s why we are committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions across our value chain by 2030.

In 2023, our net-zero targets were approved by the Science Based Targets initiative, confirming they are aligned with the latest climate science.

Social

Working together to support more patients

We believe safe, reliable healthcare should be accessible to everyone. Since naming HIPZ as our global charity partner in 2021, we have helped strengthen healthcare infrastructure in Zanzibar and improve access to essential medicines and treatment for underserved communities.

Pharmanovia’s support has helped train healthcare professionals, provide life-saving equipment and deliver critical medicines to patients with the greatest need.

Supporting disaster hit and vulnerable communities

In 2022, we began working with International Health Partners (IHP), a global health NGO that supports people in disaster-hit and vulnerable communities to access vital medicines. During 2025 we provided donations of critical medicines for Zanzibar to support the ongoing cardiovascular care programme there.

Patient safety is central to what we do at Pharmanovia

Product safety and quality are fundamental to better patient outcomes. Every Pharmanovia employee completes pharmacovigilance training to help recognise and report potential adverse reactions quickly and responsibly.
