Main responsibility and duties:
- Work closely with partners distribution management & sales promotion both in Hospital and retail channels
- Execute the company’s distribution policy, achieve ex-factory sales and inventory target
- Collect account receivable on time
- Cooperate effectively with internal and external business partners to win bidding projects including provincial bidding/GPO/ and price negotiation in the market, achieve the sales target with partner
- Generate distribution area strategy in line with national distribution strategy and implement the strategy
- Optimize distribution network to meet business needs
- Achieve in market sales and SIT target.
- Monitor distributor credit and operation status to control the risk, i.e., goods return, bad debt
- Generate bidding stakeholder engagement strategy and action plan, execute another GPO platform
- Analyse provincial bidding policy, identify risk and opportunities
- Develop risk mitigation strategy
- Monitor provincial bidding prices to ensure all of products are available in provincial bidding platform and listed in target hospitals, manage pricing including hospital price negotiation
- Screen the partner and follow the distributor selection criteria, develop, and empower the partner to fit the business in different channel, build a long-term relationship with partner in region
- Responsible for managing CSO partners, developing territory distributor network and achieving sales target through effective management
- Compliance with applicable policies, procedures and in accordance with all China regulations
- Cooperate with distributors / CSO to expand broad market coverage
- Ensure smooth supply in hospital and retail pharmacy
- Cooperate with retail team to manage different sales channels
- Ensure 100% completion of all global and local compliance training, build the integrity culture
- Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and other regulations
About you – what we are looking for:
Qualifications
- Degree in life science, pharmacy and/or business/marketing
Experience & Competencies
- China marketing and communications experience ideally gained in the pharmaceutical or bio-medical industry, including knowledge of local promotional regulations
- Product management experience gained in an international environment and deep understanding of Chinese pharmaceutical
- Experience in running successful distribution /Channel management
- Experience in province tender and GPO
- Relationship building experience with distributor /CSO, e-commerce, ability to develop the business and build innovative business channel
Knowledge & Skills
- Experience in product training and supporting new and established products
- Knowledge of marketing automation tools and advanced level MS Office
- Negotiation skills with external customer /distributor and partner
- Proficient in marketing strategy planning, market insight, and data analysis
- Coaching/Training team including product and sales skills
- Strong personal management skills, including time management, workload prioritisation, responsiveness, multi-tasking, and flexibility
Personal Qualities:
- Enthusiastic and highly motivated with sound people and organisational skills
- Self-starter and able to work on own initiative as well as able to work as part of a team in a commercial driven, result orientated environment
