About the role:

This is a key role within our APAC team, and you will be working closely with Regional Commercial Managers and Country Marketing Managers, leading brand planning and marketing in line with the global strategy. You will be driving all interactions with Global Marketing, Country Marketing, Operations, and the Commercial teams ensuring the successful launch of new products.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining a high level of clinical and product knowledge for the assigned therapeutic area (TA) and brands.
  • Leading the development and execution of the annual brand plan and marketing strategy in line with the global (TA) strategy. Ensure high quality operational plans are prepared. Driving brand performance with a strong focus on driving sales growth and market share gain of assigned brands.
  • Leading the development and review of communication plans and all marketing materials in coordination with global and country marketing and/or medical teams based on brand legacy and clinical studies to solidify brand positioning and differentiation.
  • Representing APAC’s interests in close interactions with global and regional leaders of marketing, and develop launch fact sheet for APAC. Drive the country teams’ adoption and participation for successful product launches.
  • Ensuring effective cross-functional engagement and alignment of strategies/plans with other internal disciplines including Commercial, Medical Affairs, Corp./Govt. Affairs, Regulatory, Pricing, and Market Analysis to ensure outstanding execution.
  • Cultivating relationships with KOLs and medical organisations throughout the region to build a strong network.
  • Leading the development, implementation and reviewing of KPIs for market research projects, design of regional medico-marketing activities and patient support programs in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leading the team’s support and development of tools and training for the country commercial and distribution teams.
  • Supporting country marketing in lead generation activities and acceleration of opportunities into the sales funnel measured by revenue and marketing KPIs achievements.
  • Owning the mapping of marketing/sales collateral to marketing/sales funnel stages.
  • Supporting Corporate Development and Commercial teams in new pipeline and innovation projects.

About you:

This is a senior level role and to be successful we expect that applicants would have around eight years’ relevant experience. You will also need:

  • APAC regional experience
  • A proven background in pharmaceutical product marketing
  • Degree-qualified in healthcare, life sciences, marketing or related field
  • Experience with brand marketing for ethical channel, pharmacies
  • Hands-on experience with ability to manage trade marketing/event management/new product launch
  • Digital marketing experience is highly desirable
