About the role:

This is a strategic role responsible for supporting and training the regional commercial managers, data insights team, country sales and commercial excellence managers, to drive commercial and business excellence. You will act as business partner, bringing leadership and expertise on the latest industry thinking on commercial operations processes including data management, systems, digital, SFE and promotional activities management.

Key responsibilities:

  • In coordination with the data insights team, manage the reporting, monitoring and analysis of performance data, and sales activities to support recommendations to the sales management teams to develop and improve performance of sales teams
  • Leading efficiency in and effectiveness of projects (in partnership with internal and external stakeholders) to address process opportunities in commercial operations with heavy focus on how changes impact customers and customer-facing roles
  • Monitoring sales team performance on multiple quantitative and qualitative KPIs and providing conclusive reports and recommendations adapted to the differential needs of internal stakeholders
  • Managing commercial productivity projects, providing business information that allows resource optimisation and investment analysis
  • Developing sales and marketing team’s capability and execute training plans to raise standards
  • Leading functional design and review and testing sessions with regional/country commercial excellence teams
  • Driving improvements of market-based processes through leadership, training and mentoring of cross-functional team
  • Managing continuous improvement of customer targeting model and approach
  • Partnering on developing operational leading indicator dashboard approach, to provide early warning signals for key commercial operations processes

What we are looking for:

  • Significant experience in working in a large or multinational pharmaceutical company, in a regional setting, with a proven background in commercial excellence/SFE
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Skills in market and competitor analysis
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills
  • Ability to communicate, collaborate effectively, and push things through/across a global matrix company
  • Excellent project management capabilities
