The role:

You’ll be supporting our Head of Market Access & Strategic Planning to develop and implement bidding and NRDL strategy for new and existing products.

Main responsibilities:

  • Revisit and optimize market access strategy, including pricing and NRDL strategy, for existing products
  • Setting up new products market access strategy, including pricing and NRDL strategy
  • Working closely with the team to ensure smooth communication and feedback between strategy and implementation
  • Working closely with outside stakeholders, including relevant authorities, partners & key distributors to obtain intelligence and generate understanding of intelligence
  • Driving NRDL and market access proposal, including bidding, tendering, VoBP, GPO, for senior management decision
  • Generating bidding stakeholder engagement strategy and action plan, make sure implementation by stakeholders
  • Working closely with distribution team to analyse provincial bidding policy, identify risk and opportunities develop risk mitigation strategy
  • Providing provincial pricing strategy, including bidding, GPO and hospital price re-negotiation. Work closely with distribution team to optimize execution

What you will need:

  • Degree in life science, pharmacy and/or business/marketing                   
  • China market access experience ideally gained in the pharmaceutical or bio-medical industry
  • Knowledge of bidding, tendering, VoBP, GPO and NRDL.                       
  • Experience in strategy generating and implementation of existing business                      
  • Experience in strategy generating and implementation for new products                      
  • Relationship building experience with distributor /CSO and relevant authorities                    
  • Knowledge on procedure and implement of provincial bidding, tendering, GPO, national and regional VoBP.                 
  • Knowledge of NRDL applications                       
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience of negotiations with customers /distributors and partners                  
  • Proficient in strategy planning, industrial insight and data analysis
