About the role:

As a key member of the Logistics team, you will execute and support all logistics & shipment related activities, improve performance, reduce cost and drive continuous improvement to meet customer demands and supply chain requirements in line with defined business objectives. At Pharmanovia, air, road and sea shipments are arranged to transport the goods globally.

You will also be responsible for arranging air shipments for Pharmanovia. You will need to be organised, dedicated to the continuous improvement of the business and be able to communicate with various stakeholders. In addition, you will be reviewing the temperature data throughout the shipment and escalate any temperature excursions where required.

Main Responsibilities & Duties:

• Delivering the highest quality service by ensuring all shipments are managed in the most efficient, safest and cost-effective way
• Acting as the first point of contact for all shipping orders and ensuring that all the interactions both internally and externally are always handled in a pro-active and professional manner
• Managing the end-to-end shipment process for all shipment on worldwide basis:
  • Gathering comprehensive shipment requirements
  • Identifying current GDP compliant and cost-effective logistic solutions while adhering to the company policies for arranging shipments
  • Preparing all documentation required appropriate to the shipment to facilitate transit
  • Working with Logistic partners, CMOs and distributors for collections, customs clearance and deliveries
  • Proactively monitoring the status of shipments, identifying and dealing with any issues as they arise or escalating as appropriate
  • Providing all internal and external stakeholders with regular, accurate and timely updates on shipment status
    • Ensuring correct and timely completion of all after-shipment tasks, including but not limited to:
• Retrieving temperature monitor data and archive on a share drive
• Receiving feedback from the consigner and following up directly to resolve any issues or questions, escalating where appropriate
• Developing and maintaining a close relationship with CMOs, logistic partners and distributors
• Proactively managing costs at all times through:
• Planning cost-effective and appropriate shipment solutions which do not compromise on the quality of our service
• Challenging logistic suppliers on costs and obtaining the best possible price for each shipment
• Managing internal and external customers’ expectations
• Meeting all internal KPIs for shipment collections and deliveries

About you:

• Experienced in the smooth running of Supply Chain/Freight operations, shipment planning and demand forecasting
• A degree is desirable
• Experience with SAP desirable
• Experience communicating with 3^rd party logistics providers
• Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively with internal & external stakeholders
• Great organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent data management and analytical skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• A team-player, able to encourage a collaborative environment
