About the role:

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will provide expertise and leadership to assure successful planning and execution of our future product launches. You will be responsible for the creation of launch roadmaps, inclusive of milestones, timelines, and all go to market planning.

Main responsibilities & duties:

  • Managing the critical success factors of a commercial drug launch: Selecting the right launch type, setting up a structured roadmap, obtaining the critical market insights needed in pre-launch phases, identifying leverage points along the patient journey, defining and prioritising customer segments, and designing the most effective omni-channel strategy and plan
  • In coordination with Franchise Directors, MSLs, Regulatory, Market Access and Region and Country Heads, set up ambitious, yet realistic project plans for new product launches
  • Tracking and monitoring progress against plans, trouble-shoot and bring in creative and innovative approaches for launch excellence
  • Planning resources and organising internally in order to be optimally prepared for launch
  • Driving demand generation, sizing of opportunities and appropriate pricing strategy
  • Responsible for making the strategic marketing, products and solutions plan and ensuring the right focus across all commercial teams and plans for all stakeholders
  • Developing the annual and three-year marketing and sales strategy for the assigned portfolio, planning for new launches and overseeing implementation of plans maximizing the sales for the assigned portfolio, identifying new customer segments / product segments and enhancing the brand image
  • Evaluation of long, medium and short-term marketing plans and budgets to ensure all marketing costs are reviewed and controlled within agreed parameters and marketing spends are delivering positive ROI
  • Working closely with supply teams to ensure correct forecasting and availability of supply
  • Tracking learnings from new product launches and setting up a process of continuous improvement

What we are looking for:

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Business or Marketing
  • Proven experience gained in product marketing within a Pharma/Biotech business
  • Knowledge of business analytics
  • Knowledge of budgeting and tracking
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Knowledge of marketing tools and techniques, including demand generation and pricing
  • Strong decision-making skills and organisational skills
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
