About the role:

Reporting to the General Manager APAC, you will be responsible for company portfolio expansion through new product acquisition and business development for the APAC Region.

You will be working in collaboration with our global business development teams, providing support with product acquisition, regional in-licensing projects and global new product development.

  • Managing the execution of region product expansion strategies
  • Identification, evaluation, and management of new business opportunities
  • Development of the sales pipeline in line with short and long-term financial goals
  • Research, feasibility studies and reporting
  • Identification of suitable business partners
  • Preparing business case proposal, financial simulation and negotiate terms with potential partners
  • Driving and coordinating activities related to Business Development and market data management
  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders in identifying upselling opportunities
  • Negotiations and finalisation of contracts
  • Building long-term relationships with potential partners/ suppliers

About you:

  • A business development professional with experience gained in the Pharmaceutical industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies or Marketing is preferred
  • Other technical know-how in health / life sciences is an advantage
  • A progressive career within the pharma sector in the APAC region
  • Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint and presentation skills
  • A strategic and commercial mindset
  • People management skills
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in English
