About the role:
A key member of the supply chain team, as Associate Supply Chain Manager you will execute and support all post-transition related supply chain activities, improve performance, reduce cost, and drive continuous improvement to meet customer demands and supply chain requirements in line with defined business objectives. This is a hybrid role, but international travel may be required.
Main responsibilities & duties:
- Working closely with the Supply Chain Acquisition Team for a smooth transition of the supply chain of the new products from previous vendor’s CMOs to Pharmanovia’s network of CMOs, ensuring products are delivered ‘Right First Time and 100% on Time’
- Setting up and validating the master data on Pharmanovia ERP, and coordinating the same in the new CMO’s ERP
- Working closely with the Supply Chain Customer Service Team to ensure the market-by-market demand of the assigned products was obtained correctly
- In put all demand information onto the CMO’s planning system within the agreed timeframe making sure production slots are secured and deliveries happen ‘on time in full (OTIF)’
- Monitoring the CMO capacities, free capacity and offered capacity regularly, and utilising the free slots or prioritising the orders to Pharmanovia’s advantage, depending on the demand change
- Build and maintain a relationship with the assigned CMOs
- Troubleshooting all issues within the supply chain relevant to API or bulk product availability, production schedule, deviations, serialisation, tamper evidence or any other packaging componentry issue whilst ensuring the highest standard of GDP is maintained
- Understanding all Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and data flows and being able to interrogate data to support improvement
- Providing reporting support and inventory & buying support analysis as required, and drawing insights from data and making recommendations to the business
- Working closely with the CMOs, Supply Chain Customer Service & Logistics Team, Regulatory, Artwork and IT team to solve issues related to artwork or packaging supply, and implement a process to continuously improve efficiency
- Identifying improvement areas before building business cases and engaging with relevant stakeholders to obtain their engagement and buy-in to develop a new tool and/or propose a plan of action which will contribute towards our innovation, performance, or trust priorities
- Resolving problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, customs clearance, or customer issues
- Providing early warning of impending products or stock problems to internal colleagues
- Identifying and understanding complex supply chain data issues and driving them to solution
- Automating regular tasks ensures workflow is more efficient
- Achieving company targets
- Managing the inventory efficiently for the assigned portfolio
- Communicating vital market information to relevant channels
- Dealing promptly and efficiently with report generation, SC model building requests
- Supporting the smooth running of the Supply Chain Department
About you:
Candidates with at least five years’ experience in the supply chain in the pharma environment, including S&OP, demand planning and demand forecasting, are likely to have the skills required to be successful in this role. We are also looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceuticals, life sciences or a related discipline
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent IT skills, including MS Excel at an advanced level (Power Queries, Pivot Tables), and PowerPoint at a high standard
- Experienced user of ERP systems
- Highly numerate, with experience in an analytical position
- Excellent data management skills
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with a demonstrated capability to manage complex projects to deadline and in a short timeline
- Highly motivated, able to work to own initiative as well as part of a team, in a commercial-driven, results-orientated environment
- Ability to travel internationally if required
