We seek to extensively engage with clinical communities to communicate product improvements and prioritise environmental, social, and governance considerations across the business and workforce.

Pharmanovia’s therapeutic areas include Cardiovascular, Oncology, Endocrinology and Neurology.

About the role:

Reporting into the Group General Counsel, the successful applicant will be part of the global legal and compliance team based in Basildon, UK and will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to protect the intellectual property rights, including patents and trademarks. • Partnering closely with business functional leaders to understand their needs in terms of support in relation to IP matters.
  • Liaising with Pharmanovia’s external IP specialists (including patent and trademark attorneys).
  • Overseeing expenditure with external IP specialists and ensuring expenditure is in line with budget.
  • Advising on the intellectual property aspects of business transactions (e.g. M&A, in-licensing, out-licensing, divestments).
  • Identifying opportunities to continuously enhance processes, templates, procedures or tools, and overseeing their implementation.
  • Maintaining a legally compliant and legally focused culture that balances risk against the speed of delivery and builds competitive advantage.

About you:

This is a senior level role, and we are looking for candidates who are able to work independently with minimum support. Applicants with less than 7 years’ experience are unlikely to have acquired the experience needed, but if you are exceptional, please apply.
